Cranfield University Hosts Photonic Sensors Training Workshop

Thank you to Cranfield University for hosting a one-day training workshop focused on photonic sensors and instrumentation for wind tunnel applications.
Delivered by Prof Ralph Tatam, Prof Simon Prince , Dr James Barrington and Prof Steve James, the workshop provided an in-depth introduction to optical fibre sensing technologies and their potential to address a range of measurement challenges in wind tunnel environments.
The event combined presentations with hands-on demonstrations and case studies, giving attendees practical insight into the technology.
The workshop concluded with a tour of Cranfield’s wind tunnel facilities.
