The Icing Wind Tunnel at Cranfield University has three sizes of test section up to 0.76 m x 0.76 m, and a speed up to 170 m/s.
This facility is used to understand the details of how ice forms on aircraft, wind turbines and other structures.
- Section 1: 0.76 x 0.76m
Section 2: 0.81m octagonal
Section 3: 0.4 x 0.4m
- Open return
