NWTF Marks Leadership Handover and Celebrates Chair’s Legacy

The UK National Wind Tunnel Facility (NWTF) recently marked an important milestone with the formal handover of Management Board Chair responsibilities from Professor Jonathan Morrison to Professor Bharath Ganapathisubramani.
Board members and colleagues gathered to recognise Professor Morrison’s outstanding contribution during his tenure as Chair. Under his leadership, the NWTF has continued to strengthen its position as a leading national research infrastructure, supporting world-class aerodynamic research and fostering collaboration across the UK engineering community.
Speaking at the event, colleagues thanked Professor Morrison for his dedication, strategic leadership and unwavering commitment to the Facility. His guidance has helped shape the NWTF’s direction and ensured its continued success during a period of significant growth and opportunity.
The Board also welcomed Professor Bharath Ganapathisubramani as the new Chair. A long-standing member of the NWTF community, Professor Ganapathisubramani brings extensive experience and a clear vision for the next phase of the Facility’s development. The NWTF extends its sincere thanks to Professor Morrison for his exceptional service and wishes Professor Ganapathisubramani every success as he begins his tenure as Chair.
