NWTF Relaunches Experimental Database
We are thrilled to announce the relaunch of the NWTF Experimental Database, now updated with features to enhance user experience and accessibility. Designed with researchers in mind, the database simplifies access to experimental data, allowing users to quickly locate and extract specific measurements.
Our primary aim is to make the database highly intuitive, allowing users to quickly locate and extract specific measurements. Unlike other repositories that bundle files into large, zipped packages, we’ve implemented a standardized metadata template. This enables users to:
- Easily identify measurement planes and locations using visual maps.
- Download specific files instead of entire datasets, saving time and resources, there will also be a link provided for the original large zipped datafiles.
Key new features include:
- Enhanced Metadata Navigation: Categorized measurements for easy search.
- Visual Data Mapping: Pictorial representation of measurement planes and locations.
- Selective Downloads: Access only the files you need.
- Improved Interface: User-friendly design for effortless navigation.
We invite researchers to contribute datasets to the platform. Simply provide your data, and our team will prepare the metadata for publication. By sharing your work, you can increase visibility, encourage collaboration, and advance experimental aerodynamics.
